The rector, chancellor, administration, staff, professors and students of the University of the Patriarchate of Georgia, named after St. Tamar King, announce with deep sadness that a great friend of our university, a famous sports commentator, basketball coach, honored sports figure, journalist, one of the Georgian-Jewish relations, has passed away. One of the most prominent leaders, Chairman of the Revival and Public Council of the Museum of the History of Georgian Jews and Georgian-Jewish Relations named after Davit Baazov, Honorary Citizen of Tbilisi Jamlet Khukhashvili, Knight of the Orders of Glory, Honor and the Royal Crown of Georgia, and express their condolences to the family, relatives, friends and relatives of the deceased.
