On this topic, the National Center for the Development of Education Quality held an online meeting using the Zoom platform. Rector of the University of the Patriarchate of Georgia named after St. Tamar King, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Archimandite Adam Vakhtang Akhaladze and the coordinator of the university's quality assurance service, Doctor of Medicine Grigol (Gia) Sulaberidze took part in the remote meeting.
It was emphasized that by switching to cluster accreditation, higher educational institutions will have the opportunity to accredit program groups in a relatively short period of time using less human and financial resources based on the national qualifications framework.
The following issues were discussed at the meeting:
▶ About the logic of grouping educational programs in a cluster;
▶ Rules and conditions for grouping educational programs into a cluster (review of the project);
▶ On the grouping of educational programs in the field of unclassified and interdisciplinary studies;
▶ The specifics of the development of the self-assessment questionnaire of the accreditation application and the list of attached documents;
▶ Updated cluster accreditation fee details, components and fee downward trends.
The online meeting was held in interactive mode. The participants had the opportunity to ask questions about the issues of interest to them.
