Today, the literary-musical performance of father Adam Akhaladze "Sh e m o m e g e b e, a f k h a z e t o" was presented at the Batumi State Art and Music Center.

The event was held in partnership with the Office of the Minister of Justice and Civil Integration of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.

At the end of the performance, the audience was addressed:

Founder of "Roots-XXI" Mrs. Marina Khantadze, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons - IDPs of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia Mr. Davit Fatsatsia, First Deputy Minister of Justice and Civil Integration of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia Mr. Giorgi Gabedava, Deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Mr. Akaki Dzneladze.

The speakers reminded the public of the most important events in the life and work of Father Adam, and spoke about the importance of public diplomacy in the process of reconciliation of artificially divided societies. They also thanked Father Adam and all the participants and organizers of the performance for preparing and offering such a flawless performance. It was decided that the performance will be held in the main places of the compact settlement of displaced persons from Abkhazia throughout Georgia.

After that, Feri public school students came on stage and read poems in Abkhaz language; Abkhazian songs were also performed.

The evening ended with a stirring speech by Father Adam. He recalled the years of his childhood and youth in Batumi, spoke about the importance of Georgian culture and its place in world civilization, and called on the public to take an active patrilineal position and tirelessly care for the future of Georgia.
